Specializing in the production of new paraffin wax, dehydrated paraffin wax for laboratory pathological research

Tissue-wax is a highly purified, filtered white paraffin Wax mixed with a synthetic polymer and a small amount of dimethyl sulfoxide added to enhance Tissue penetration and thus reduce penetration time. Suitable for conventional embedding and slicing applications. Provides minimal cooling shrinkage and high performance, ease of cutting and ribbon continuity when slicing. It is also recommended for larger or stiffer tissue samples, as it reduces the brittleness of the slice, resulting in a more flexible ribbon. Melting point 56-62 ℃, freezing point 54-60℃. Provided in granular form.
